Second track off self- produced EP, ‘We Aren’t Over…” Terreyl Fields blesses his listeners with track ‘Glistening.’

I get excited when I get the opportunity to listen and write about different genres of music. So when Miami based artist, Terreyl Fields, reached out to me with this EP, I couldn’t listen to it fast enough.

Upon first listen, I immediately noticed the fun and playful into. This transitions into a groovy, sensory synth moment that perfectly delivers Fields’ vocals into the track.

I have to tell you, when I first heard him singing, I literally hit pause after a few moments to send him a personal message because his voice is so good. I physically pulled back and said "dammmmnnn” mouth hanging open. The vocals in this track remain perfectly timed and smooth throughout. He does an amazing job matching and layering his vocal vibe to the house and electronica beats.

It’s giving Frank Ocean. It’s giving RnB. It’s giving me house. It’s giving swanky rooftop afterparty.

The more I listened, the more I grooved and sang along with this. In the car. In the shower. This track is the ultimate “main character” type track with lines such as:

“I’m out here living life, raised up on my price…”

So much YES. That line on it’s own is an entire mood.

Terreyl Fields at just 20 years of age shared that he’s relatively new to his craft. However, you wouldn’t guess it based on this swanky-smooth, beat heavy track. It’s sexy. It’s fun. He’s not only getting the hang of producing and mixing his own music, his voice, again, is just *chefs kiss* lovely. So sultry. And so perfect in his work.

Tracks 1 and 3 of 'We Aren't Over...' include 'Tonight' and 'Filmakers'. While they're all so good, 'Glistening' is hands down my favorite of the three.

Honorable mention: ‘Slice Slide ‘& ‘160’.

While neither of these tracks are on this most recent EP, they give an exemplary snapshot of Fields’ natural talent and artistry over the last few years.

Next up for Terreyl, is recent feature collaboration ‘M1LL1ON’ with The B-OIS which will be coming to Side B soon. I’m so excited for what lies ahead as Terreyl blazes forward in his sure-to-be long music career.
